Over a decade of experience

Specialist area: Trauma, rape, sexual abuse & Domestic violence. Working aalongside Anxiety, depression, ADHD, seasonal affective disorder,  rape, sexual abuse,domestic violence,  bereavement, child loss, bipolar, dissociative identity disorder, stress, depression, attachment issues, narcissism, emotional unstable personality disorder, co-dependency, empaths, . Forms of Autism spectrum such as Aspergers. Forms of dependency such as relationships or alcohol.

Sessions to suit you

Outdoors (walk & Talk), online or telephone: Weekly, fortnightly, monthly or single sessions. Flexible meetings to suit your diary.

Experience over the last 10 years include:

  • CRASAC (Cornwall Rape and Sexual abuse centre) Counsellor ( over 7 years) 

  • CLEAR (Emotional Trauma & Therapy specialists) Counsellor

  • Private Practise (Counsellor)

  • Sea Sanctuary. Therapeutic support worker upon the ARC ( floating residential care setting for children who have suffered severe trauma)

  • Brandon Trust. Working with learning Disabilities 

  • YMCA (appointed staff counsellor & youth counsellor )

  • Mind Mental Health (Advocate& Befriender)

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and Therapy  (level 5)

  • Certificate of Advanced Counselling (Level 4)

  • Certificate in basic Counselling skills

  • BsC (Hons) Health and Social Care

  • FdA Health and Community studies

  • Diploma in  Working Therapeutically with Children & Young People (Level 5)

  • Working creatively in the outdoors, ecotherapy & Walk & Talk (creative counsellors)
